Rich Dad Poor Dad

Mom bought my the (by now famous) book "Rich Dad Poor Dad". She asked me to read it and said that it might be a triffle late giving it to you, but since you about to embark on a career, it is worth a read. I promised her that i would read it. My lack of conviction probably aroused doubt in her that i would actually read it.

So on my way back from sisters house, from columbus to cleveland, i gave the book a shot. I had heard tonz about the book and thought it would be interesting to find out what the hype was all about.

"Rich Dad Poor Dad" is a book by Robert Kiyosaki. The "Rich Dad Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money--That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!" book reviews were highly acclaimed by many in the financial world.

J.P. Morgan declares Rich Dad Poor Dad the book that "rocked" the financial world. "Rich Dad Poor Dad a must-read for Millionaires"The Wall Street Journal describes it asA starting point for anyone looking to gain control of their financial future.

The author presents an economic perspective through exposure to a pair of completely different influences: his own highly educated but financially unstable father, and the multimillionaire eighth-grade dropout father of his closest friend.

I'm halfway through the book, when i reached my destination. I havent had a chance to get back to finishing it. I will post more thoughts about it after i'm done with it. The books offers real sound financial advice especially for a financially unsavvy person such as me. i cant wait to take a crack at it again. Possibly next weekend when i might be on vacation , camping near New Jersey / New York.
