Pav Bhajji Party
Yesterday, me and my roommates had a mini party, something i wished to call 'Pav Bhajji Party'. I had my mom make the sabji or bhajji (as it is popularly known as) over the weekend. For most of us, dishes such as Pav Bhaji are delicacies, we dont often get to experience unless your lucky enough to work in a restaurant. I had actually planned the party for Sunday night. But ashok, subba and nandan were at louisville, Kentucky. Ashok was to see his brother who will be leaving for India soon, while the others just tagged along for the 'sunday ride'. (On a sidenote, i should mention that yashwanth who was driving back got a $185 speeding ticket. Gee whiz, Ohio cops are mean) Anywayz, So we had the party (in celebration of my neice) yesterday and it actually came out good. The sandwich buns (pav) was given a generous (a little too generous in my opinion but what the heck itz good to indulge your taste buds once in a while) coating of fresh butter and this made a whale of different to the taste. A pat on the back for my culinary skills than. A far cry from my post of 'Somethingz Cookin'. Or maybe i'm talking credit for something i dont deserve, coz it was mom who made the sabjji rite. Anywayz the important thing is that it came out great. cheers to my new neice 'Aditi'.
