Rang De Basanti
Yesterday i saw Rang De Basanti (my first hindi movie in an American theatre). I thorougly enjoyed the movie, but like most other people, was dissapointed with the climax. The movie potrays parallels between Indians ruled by the British and Indians ruled by corrupt politicians today. The message is subtle at first, but echoes piercingly before it reaches its finale. Rang De Basanti offers entertainment and it is not your run-of-the-mill kind of a movie. Infact i would struggle to find latest movie of Aamir Khan which is run-of-the-mill. He usually only acts in movies which touch him and the masses. All in all a very enjoyable and refreshing movie.
